Get Connected

At First Southern, we have ministries for the whole family. Here are just some of the places where you can make a connection.

Children

First Southern Baptist Church has a complete age-graded Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:45 for children of all ages.

We invite your children to worship in the services with the family, but we also feature a complete children’s worship service for children grades 1-3 which meets at 11:00am in the Children’s Building (except the first Sunday of each month).

On Wednesday evenings at 6:03pm we offer our AWANA Program for children 2 years of age through high school.

Other activities we offer for children:

  • Vacation Bible School in June.
  • Children’s Camp in July for children who complete first through sixth grade at our Southern Pines Baptist Camp on Mt. Lemmon.

Youth

FSBC Teens is a group focused on introducing Christ to those who have yet to meet him and to disciple them so they have a deeper personal relationship with Christ. Our aim is to grow these young leaders to rise up in our community to win souls and disciple new believers.

We meet Sunday morning for Youth Group at 9:45 a.m. and Wednesday nights for “24-7” from 6-7:30 p.m. All youth from 7th-12th grade are welcome to attend.

If you have questions about FSBC’s youth ministry, please contact Theo Salomon at theoism@gmail.com.

Adults

As Christians we need to make an earnest effort to study and meditate in God’s Word so we can grow in our faith in Jesus Christ. The study of the Bible is a vital part of worship. Because we believe this, we offer the opportunity to study God’s Word to adults of all ages. Our teachers are trained and dedicated to teaching the scripture.

We invite you to enroll in a Bible study class on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45am or call the church office.

Women

Our church ministers to women of all ages through our Women’s Ministry. Monthly fellowships, Bible studies, and retreats.

Want to discover and delight in God’s joy and purpose for your life? This new study is entitled “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God” by Lysa TerKeurst.

Contact the church office for cost of the study guide.

For more information on how you can get involved contact the church office 623-5858.
