1 Thessalonians 2:1-10
1. Good Results Come from Good Ministry. (Vs. 1, Isa 55:11)
a. Isaiah 55:11, “so my word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.”
2. Good Ministry is Not:
a. Cowardly. (Vs. 2, Acts 16:22-24)
i. Acts 16:22-24, “The crowd joined in the attack against them, and the chief magistrates stripped off their clothes and ordered them to be beaten with rods. After they had severely flogged them, they threw them in jail, ordering the jailer to guard them carefully. Receiving such an order, he put them into the inner prison and secured their feet in the stocks.”
b. Constructed with Trickery, Deceit, or Error. (Vs. 3)
c. Seeking Man’s Approval (Vs. 4), Hiding False Motives (Vs. 5), or Pursuing Applause. (Vs. 6)
