“Take Them to Jesus” Part 2
Daniel 6
1. God is Often Introduced Through Testimony. (Vs. 3-5, John 20:29, Mark 9:24)
2. God is Fully Introduced Through Revelation. (Vs. 16-22; John 4:39-42, 8:17-18)
3. When God is Known He is Glorified; Continue the Testimony! (Vs. 26-27)
a. He is Real and Alive! (Vs. 26a, 1 Tim 4:10, Rom 8:8-9)
i. 1 Timothy 4:10, “For this reason we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.”
ii. Romans 8:8-9, “Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.”
b. He is Greater Than Any Nation or People! (Vs. 26, Ex 32:9-10)
i. Exodus 32:9-10, “The LORD also said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and they are indeed a stiff-necked people. Now leave me alone, so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.””
c. He is the Miracle-Working Savior! (Vs. 27, Rom 6:8-11)
i. Romans 6:8-11, “Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him, because we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again. Death no longer rules over him. For the death he died, he died to sin once for all time; but the life he lives, he lives to God. So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.”
