Remember the Lord
Matthew 26:17-30
1. The Plans of God Shall Not Be Thwarted… (Matthew 26:17-18, 24a; Isaiah 14:27, 46:9-10)
Isaiah 14:27, The Lord of Armies himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is his hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?
Isaiah 46:9-10, Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one is like me. I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying: my plan will take place, and I will do all my will.
2. Whether We, Or Satan, Like it or Not! (Matthew 26:20-25, Luke 22:3-4, Job 9:4, Acts 1:16-18)
Luke 22:3, Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, who was numbered among the Twelve. He went away and discussed with the chief priests and temple police how he could hand him over to them.
Job 9:4, God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed him and come out unharmed?
Acts 1:16-18, Brothers and sisters, it was necessary that the Scripture be fulfilled that the Holy Spirit through the mouth of David foretold about Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus. 3. Instead, Let Us Make a Different Choice to Worship. (Matthew 26:26-30, 1 Chronicles 16:23-24)
1 Chronicles 16:23-24, Let the whole earth sing to the Lord. Proclaim his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all peoples.
