How many of you have been told not to pray for patience? People say not to, because God might give you an opportunity to be patient! I wonder though, do we ask if that is a biblical prayer, or do we just cling to things like that because it is convenient or east? Prayer seeks the heart and person of God. Fortunately, there are godly examples in the Scriptures of how to pray, especially when things get difficult. It might just challenge how we pray.
