In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which is translated Dorcas). She was always doing good works and acts of charity.

The Dorcas Ministry at First Southern is a dedicated group of quilters who love God and love to share His love with others through the quilts and various projects they sew. These hardworking quilters love and support each other while they make everything from quilts for the sick and injured to diaper bags for new mothers in need.
