I am guessing that most of us understand the concept of guard duty. One group defines it as, “a military assignment that involves watching over or protecting a person or place or supervising prisoners.” When we are “on guard” we must make sure that we are awake, alert, and that we don’t let anyone past us. So, what is it like to be “on guard” as a Christian? How do we guard our beliefs and hearts? Romans 16 gives us some clear principles to make sure we don’t get distracted or have our faith hijacked. Let’s stand guard in the Spirit to live for Him!
