Have you ever made an accusation against someone that seemed too far-fetched to believe? Has anyone ever made one about you? There is little that makes one more upset than being unfairly accused. Truthfully, most of us don’t like it even if we deserve it! How about God? Did God abandon Israel as some say? Could it be that the point of these 3 chapters in Romans all comes together to bring us a conclusion – and that conclusion is uncomfortable for those who have failed to take responsibility for their actions? Paul lays out the evidence in our passage today…has God rejected Israel? Let’s see.
