How long does it take for a flower to die once it is cut? It can be fast. We can try to artificially keep it looking better, but apart from the vine/bush/plant/tree, it will die and there is nothing we can do about it. It is inevitable. People aren’t that much different – if we are not attached to Christ (the vine) we are dead…even if we fake it for a while. By His grace we can be, and remain, attached! Therefore, unlike the flower, there is much hope in Jesus!
