When we left off in our text, Paul and Barnabas had left town after Paul was stoned and left for dead. If that were you, what would you do next? Would you go as far away as possible? Would you consider early retirement? Would you put together a legal defense team? Would you “Appeal to Rome”? Paul went back and continued the work that God had started through Him in Lystra. The challenge is real today – God has called us to BE the church, and that work doesn’t stop until He returns! May we be found faithful upon His return.
