Last week we discussed how we can never earn our salvation and that works are not a requirement for salvation but should be fruit of our salvation (with the goal of pleasing God). The question remains, “Why did the Jerusalem Council require 4 things from the Gentile Converts?” Can’t we just do what we want and be saved? Isn’t that “judging”? The church has been given a great gift – today we see that we should use such a great gift for good. What do you care about most: Freedom or Fellowship?
