Every baseball pitcher hopes for a “perfect game”. It is better than a no-hitter; it is when no one reaches base – every single at-bat ends in an out. What a thrill that must be! Is there such a thing for a Chrisitan evangelist? We aren’t just speaking about a vocational gospel-teller, but for anyone who shares Jesus – is there “a perfect game”? Is there a dream gospel encounter? Today I suggest that there is – the cost was serious, but the outcome was perfect – let’s see and pray for the “perfect game” today as we continue our study in Acts.
