Many pastors jokingly talk about using, “Three Points and a Poem” to present their sermons. That saying has different meanings based upon your age and location, but they all understand the concept of preparing three strong teaching points and ending with an emotional plea or “poem” to bring it all together. While I don’t preach like that (although I do have 3 points a lot), we do see that Peter takes a similar form as he delivers the first sermon of the early church. In this amazing sermon we will see the foundation of Christianity and the work of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a call to Jesus.
